Your computer must maintain a high-speed connection. To get the full benefits of the workshops, headphones and a microphone are recommended for all classes. If necessary, your instructor will help you set-up integrated VoIP on your computer before your workshop begins.

Q. Minimum Hardware requirements?
A. 
The iLearning Experience workshops use integrated VoIP, so either speakers or a headset is required.  You MUST have sound capability (speakers or headphones) even if you do not have a microphone.  A headset is recommended, especially for users wishing to speak.  Users without microphone capability can use the chat window to communicate with the instructor.
A.  To hear the sound clips on the web pages, your computer must have speakers or a headset.

Q. Software requirements?
A.
  To listen to the audio on the webpages, you will need QuickTime to hear the *.mp3 files.
A. To view video clips and to participate fully in the workshops at www.ilearningexperience.com, you will need Adobe® Flash Player (minimum ver.7; recommended ver.9) either installed on your computer or enabled as a browser plug-in to view *.swf files.
A. To view *.pdf files you will need Adobe® Acrobat® either installed on your computer or enabled as a browser plug-in.
A. You do NOT have to own the software for the workshops you are taking; it is installed on the classroom computers.

Q. What is Integrated VoIP?
A.
   Integrated VoIP simply means that you will be communicating with your instructor and the other students through your computer.

Q. What do I need to use Integrated VoIP?
A.
   To use Integrated VoIP, you will need a full duplex sound card and speakers or headset. To speak, you should have a microphone that is connected to your computer. For best results, a headset with a bult-in mic is recommended.

Q. What do you mean by "full duplex"?
A. 
  Integrated VoIP is full duplex, meaning multiple attendees can speak at the same time. Half duplex is a VoIP conference where only one attendee can speak at a given time, similar to a CB radio.
