iLearning Experience™ Workshop Description

The iLearning Experience™ Photoshop CS4 Basics Workshop introduces students to the photo editing and graphic creation capabilities of this powerful program. Students will learn various techniques to edit and adjust photographs, as well as create graphic art.

Students will learn how to quickly test numerous color and brightness variations using layers and a variety of powerful options. Changing the background, cropping out unwanted portions, and combining elements from more than one photo or graphics file will be explored. Turning drab or poorly-lit photos into images that look like a pro took them is another skill you'll add to your Graphic Designer repertoire.

Adding, editing, and special effects for text will be utilized as students design an ad during the course. Students will Import artwork as well as create their own using the drawing and coloring tools in Photoshop. By the end of the workshop, students will be able to save images in standard graphic file formats, and know the appropriate type to use for the various output mediums.  These graphics may be a clearer photo than the original, a web page background, an ad for a newspaper or a CD cover. The possibilities are just beginning!
