Adobe® Captivate 4.0 Basics - Creating Multimedia Presentations
iLearning Experience™ Workshop Description

The iLearning Experience™ Captivate 4.0 Basics Workshop is designed to provide students with the skills to create engaging interactive presentations. The workshop begins by familiarizing students with the Captivate screen as well as the tools and panes (windows) available. Students will start with a blank slide and working from a storyboard, they will create their first project from scratch. Starting with drawing objects, captions, and images, students will learn how to use many of the tools available in Captivate to create presentations that will captivate their audiences. In addition, students will learn how they can quickly add narration using the "Text to Speech" agent.

After completing their first project, students will learn how to use existing content as they import a PowerPoint presentation into Captivate to create their second project. Students will then edit the imported content as they explore the various ways to make their presentations intuitive, engaging and entertaining. Students will understand the finer points of timing as they work with objects on the timeline. Finally, students will learn how to publish their projects and understand what is required for their presentations to be available to users on the Internet.
