Adobe® Captivate 4.0 Advanced - Creating Engaging Interactive E-Learning
iLearning Experience™ Workshop Description
The Adobe® Captivate 4 Advanced iLearning Experience workshop will bring the e-learning process together. Students will begin the course by updating their basic presentations with some of the advanced functionality Captivate provides. Students will learn to use variables, widgets, and other advanced tools available to enhance their presentations. Students will also learn how to use branching to make the navigation of their presentations more flexible. Students will learn how to import audio to add narration to their presentation and add Closed Caption as well.
One of the toughest tasks is to assess whether the learner understood and retained the information you presented. Students will explore the different types of learning interactions they can have with a user. Students will build a complete quiz to assess their users’ understanding and retention of the material. Additionally, students will understand what is required to make their assessments SCORM compliant and how to report the results.
Finally, students will put all of the modules together into their e-learning course. The students will take the presentation they created during the Captivate Basics workshop, together with the demonstrations, simulations, and assessments created during the Captivate Intermediate workshop, and finally the quiz created during this workshop to combine them into a completed e-learning course. Students will then publish their complete e-learning courses.
